- INGREDIENTS:

- 1.1 cup sugar.

- 2.2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.

- 3.1 teaspoon cinnamon.

- 4.1/8 teaspoon nutmeg.

- 5.1/8 teaspoon salt.

- 6.Juice of 1 lemon.

- 7.6-8 medium tart cooking apples,pared,cored and thinly sliced.

- 8.3 tablespoons butter or margarine.

- 9.Kitchenaid pie pastry for double crust 9-inch pie.

- INSTRUCTIONS:Combine sugar,flour,cinnamon,nutmeg,lemon juice
- and salt;mix with apples.

- Divide pastry in half.Roll to 1/8 inch thickness and line a 9-inch
- pie plate.Fill with apple mixture and dot with butter.Roll out
- remaining crust and place on pie.Cut slits for steam to escape
- and seal edges.Sprinkle with sugar lightly.

- Bake at 400^F for 50 minutes. YIELD:One 9-inch pie.
